I don't drink alcohol when I play poker. I want to be sharp and be able to play my best. In a fun game maybe, but other than that, never. So what do I drink while I play? I was at Foxwoods about 15 years ago when this one guy was drinking chocolate milk at the table. I love chocolate milk, so I got one, and I asked him, you know, like, what made you think of chocolate milk? And he said, It's the best thing to drink while you're playing poker. A, you need to keep yourself hydrated, and milk is actually good for you in other ways because you won't get as hungry as you play. Actually, if you drink it, you don't get hungry while you're playing. You don't have to go crazy. I remember playing at night, never getting hungry at all, ate when it was time for a break. But I realized he was right. I wasn't getting those hunger pains looking for a snack. So I've incorporated that into my game, including at the world series of poker.
