Of course…

If your not making a few friends playing poker then you need to really loosen up and be friendly. Most, not all, but most of my friends do play poker. We play at local club tournaments and sometimes online together. If we play against each other in a given tournament then so be it. I will just have a better understanding of how they play and they will have the same information on me. I love poker and have met people from all around the world playing poker. It IS a very social game in itself. You don’t HAVE to be social but damn it’s so much more fun when you are!!! Just my opinion!!

Unfortunately my friends do not play poker, but a year ago my son started playing, who has surpassed me already, which I am glad. But thanks to poker, I now have online friends with whom we can communicate not only about poker.

I have some but just for pure fun home games where party has much higher priority than focusing on the game. It is good fun to play such games but they definitely do not help you to be better player.

I wish I had a group of friends to play poker with.
Years ago I purchased a nice set of casino quality chips and cards.
Only used it once.

I also have a poker set, sometimes a girl and I play. Of course I win, but I try to succumb to it)

I have a few friends that play, but more importantly I have made friends through playing Poker, travelling to different tournaments I have come across players who, like myself enjoy playing and will occasionally turn up at different events, and of course you start chatting on and off the table, sharing different Poker stories until they become friends off the felt.
On the felt I want to tear them apart and steal all their chips, but that's Poker.

One friend I have made through playing against at one venue, I found out his Brother play's at another venue I used to visit, and I also played against their Father, many years ago at another place, so it really is a small World.

I have a few friends and work colleagues who also love to play poker. We used to get together to play almost every week, renting a room all night. But now, after the well-known events, we play poker much less often, not even every month.

Go to social media platforms and start groups of people that live near you to get a nice player pool to play with.
That is going to be your best bet

I do have a few friends to play with. Not many online but more at my home. We like to play and it is very much fun. The ones I play online are not really friends except for those at Cards Chat. Such a great group of players.

Unfortunately I don´t have many friends who like to play poker. Back in 2006 to 2010 we used to play regularly (though none of them took the game as seriously as I did and still do). But over last few years the interest in poker seem to have disappeared, so I have to play online. But I would like to play with friends again.

I has friends to play with every 2 weeks with food and drinks and we would play for 4 to 6 hrs each game. But due to the pandemic, things just feel apart and we started to pick up other things individually. Those were the times

Yes, but because of the pandemic, it became somehow dangerous to play live. That's why we play in our home room at PokerSatrs.

Im having the same problem because we all used to play 15-20 yrs ago and at least twice a week there was a home game... which I prefer over the internet tourneys..
At least once a week we went to LIVE MTT somewhere in the city.
But hey, at that time there was not so many online poker rooms sites.

But it will come to boom of live tourneys as soon as this COVID thing finishes his job... this way or that way, because people wanna go out ! Can't wait !
