Do you have poker clubs in your city?

Here in my city there are poker clubs, but the starting chips are few (I think about 12bb), and the players who have money to spend are paying re-buys and Add-ons, this makes it difficult for those who just want to play with one buy-in

Wow, the owner of this club wants to get really rich! There is no such thing as having a tournament that tight, it is not healthy for the players and takes away a lot of gameplay, so you have to hope to run in the beginning. hahahah

Unfortunately we do not as I live on a small island but I would love to be part of a local club and play live..we don’t even have a casino so playing online is my only option for playing poker

There are several poker clubs in Minsk. I know for sure that one of them even hosts freerolls. I can't say anything about the conditions of the game and the players, there is no way to go to these clubs.

poker clubs and casinos were banned 10-15 years ago, only 3 cities have a permit, in principle I am glad of this, people will be a little ludomaniac

Used to have many until politics destroyed the live pokerscene in Austria .
Was a regular and played many tournaments.
Only state Casinos have a license now and their offers of tournaments is a joke.

I live in a small city near Berlin. Before Covid starts we had regularly tournaments in a Bar every month, now this bar has closed and when u want to play Poker for real money u have to drive to Berlin to the casino...but of course there is sometimes a little private Pokersession with friends

I live in Sao Jose dos Campos, Sao Paulo, Brazil. There's no active pokerclubs right now. I work in Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil, there's a lot of clubs. I usually play at @maxxpkr and @h2club.

There's one up the road in Waco but they charge $12 an hour for playing at ring games and they only offer rebuys and re-enter trny's on Mon/Wed/Fri. There are more rooms in Austin and Dallas. Houston has some but that's just a bit much of a drive for me. The Lodge on I-35 in Austin offers a better variety of trny's and only charge $10 an hour. Plus, it's fkng huge. It's almost as big a Walmart; seriously. There are more clubs in Austin as well but with much smaller traffic and no freezeout tournaments, they're all rebuys and re-enter trnys.
The Lodge and Texas Card House have live YouTube feeds, usually featuring a nice buy-in cash game w/buy-ins ranging from 5/10 and up. They also stream final tables. Maybe one day I'll make it on one.

of course there is well, if you always have a rebuy function in the club then it's tough then the club just wants to make money on the players and all this is his plan I think it's very bad for the players

Here in Curitiba, which is the city where I live, there are some poker clubs, but the most famous is H2Club, this club is close to my house and I've been several times to take a look at the tournaments they promote, but I was never interested in playing.

Yes, several. Usually a £20 buy-in with rebuy and top-up. Some will play poker leagues, with smaller buy-in, a points based system. With prizes at end of season, these prizes can be anything from a seat at a bigger competition, smart TV's to games consoles.

Yes, there are poker clubs in my city but unfortunately I can't go to play because they play on Tuesday nights and it's impossible because the next day you work very early.
