I like him as a person, very funny and kind person. Certainly he is a very good player too. Its important the way he plays any hand, whether the aces or kings

He comes off the wrong way sometimes but for the most part he is ok. Considering his level of achievement he could be a lot worse. Often when a person becomes a celebrity in their field it goes to their head and I think he has handled his success pretty well. He is outspoken but at least you know where he stands and he doesn't hide in order to avoid causing a stir. He stands by his position right or wrong.

Who doesn't like negraneau he is always fun to watch. He seems like a great guy. If the snippets that I've seen him interact with people and tell stories on TV represents his true personality even a little bit then he truly is a great person. The poker world needs more guys like him.

Never met him, so how would I know?

"It's called small ball actually (you were close). Basically what rytciaq said is what it is. Stab at small pots and raise a lot. Apparently, he said 75 was a good hand for flopping full houses. When you catch cards playing so many hands, you can get paid a lot".

His playing philosophy is very close to mine. I never bothered to give it a name other than that's how I always played it.

It's basic arithmetic: if there's 1.5BB out there and you raise 2XBB, you're laying 2 to win 1.5 ( 4 : 3 ). Raise it 6XBB like a lot of fish do and that's 6 : 1.5 -- really horrible.

It also allows for cheaper c-bets when you miss.

Actually, I'd rather flop a straight or bottom two with a king or queen. Having (7,7,5) or (5,5,7) on board looks threatening, and puts you in board lock. Those are hit or miss flops that I don't fool with in high SPR pots.
