Obviously a good live tournament player. Did great things for popularization of poker. His table behavior is lacking though. I do not mind emotions and occasional outbursts, but his are just 'baby rages reeee'.

It's good for the promotion of the game to have polarising figures I think. Phil's a good tournament player and good to watch from an entertainment perspective.

He is one of the best players of all time. I like to see a lot of content about him, and I try to take advantage of him to gain confidence and knowledge.

He is a great player , a poorly behaved and badly disciplined person. Y ears from now most people will remember him as an A**H*** and talk about that rather than talk about his bracelets. A sad commentary .

I always loved him. I always feel for him. He is so passionate.
For those of us who tilt with emotional explosions while playing online Micro stakes and free rolls.
Can you imagine playing final tables with hundreds of thousands of dollars at stake, and in front of a camera.
My heart goes out to him.

Yes, I really like his style, but I think he's often impulsive in his decisions, I prefer some Brazilian professionals with a better and more aggressive style and gameplay.

He is one of the best announcers out there. When he's in the booth you will learn something. Also very positive and pumped about poker when he talks.

as a person I do like him, but as a poker player i do respect him but not a fan except when he is steaming coz its hilarious and its good for the game, entertainment!

Hello poker fans,

I find Phil Hellmuth very entertaining. A pity some of his poker tantrums rub off on me at times!

Poker has all sorts of characters and he is definitely way up there... somewhere

Just for the laughs...I am not sure how much I admire his skill though.
