I think if you get frustrated it is best to take a break and compose yourself. For some that could be a few hours for others a few days.

Yes.

If I find myself caring too much about the results, I will take a break to remedy my emotional state.

Breaks are good reminders not to take the GAME of poker too seriously.

We are all (much!) more than poker players.

Yes, specially after a bad run. Also there are weeks that I play too much time everyday and it comes to a point that I can't stand to sit and play another long session. I always take breaks, 1-2 days off poker is good for my game.

I think that if you have a bad run, stop 2-3 days is a good idea. You can analyze your strategy and your mistakes in the game 🙂

Whatever you feel you need is welcome at all times, you don't have to do something that you feel is not to your liking and I feel the need not to play for a few days and I do it many times, I charge myself with energy

I don't know if I do or not. I will sometimes take a break for life reasons but I have seldom took a break because I am running bad. My reasons are more like I would rather fire up the forge and hammer some steel into different shapes.

I don't necessarily think that you play better after a break, but if you have the feeling that you are just losing, some or maybe many get into stress and then it might be better to take a short break to calm down again. But you don't necessarily play better then, just a little more calmed down and with better nerves.

Sometimes hours is enough, sometimes days... But i never go a week, i think the maximum days off i take is 5. monday-friday and back saturdays

Same here , lately I play mostly on Fridays and Saturdays but I put more volume and I find out that I perform better.
Just play whenever you are in the mood , the vast majority of the players play for fun so have fun with the game!

If running bad and / or making similar mistakes, or just not enjoying poker quite as much as you know you should be - then take a break and maybe review some basic principles. Come back refreshed with positive attitude...
