No, you don’t need to be an expert to play poker. Poker is a game that welcomes players of all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals. Anyone can sit down and enjoy the game, learn as they go, and gradually improve over time. While expertise can help you become a winning player and make better decisions, many people play poker recreationally for fun, challenge, and social interaction. The key is to start with the basics, practice regularly, and stay curious and open to learning.

In online poker you don't have to be an expert, all you need is desire and your skills, which come to you with the number of tournaments you've played, along with luck.

I think that the better you learn poker, but it's also about poker math and the ability to constantly assess the situation, the better you know who you're at the table with. That's why I think poker development is very important, but you don't need much knowledge to play at low stakes.
yea low stakes just knowing the tables and graphs ... you will profit

I think it all depends on your goals. If your goal is to have fun, then you probably don't need to be a professional player. If your goal is to make money, then you'd better be a professional :)

Wouldn't you become an expert if you had more experience?

To become a good player, you need to train, learn different strategies, and understand how to react to other players' actions.

No expertikse is needed to play poker. If you learn to play successsfully, it is a lot about probabilities. EV, opponents tendencies. And bankroll management;d on't lose what you need, just play what you canl ose.

Its logical that you must be a very good player to have longtime success. Even if you are a expert and a professional player you could have loosing time called downswing. But on the other side you could have some nice runs because of luck. But if you will win constantly money there is no other way to study the game and keep developing your own game.

You don’t have to be an expert, but having some basic knowledge definitely helps if you want to play decently.

Exactly! You don’t need to be a pro to play. Just learn the basics, start at low stakes, and build from there — that’s how everyone starts.

I think you need to be skilled in understanding the current situation you are in when playing and then also have a good idea of what hands are good in that spot and what not. I think being an expert helps, but it is not a necessity.

Poker is just gambling like blackjack,
if you just want make money with poker, a little bit you need to be expert in long term I think.
but if you want to have fun with your money, just have a bankroll you can afford
pand play a stake till you double your whole bankroll.
good lucks 🍀

Have you ever paid attention to the number of online players, for example, on such sites as PokerStars or GG Poker?
There can be from 10 thousand players online, and even up to 100 thousand or more. Do you think all these players are experts?
