Sorry friend, but playing poker with the cards in hand is a thousand times better and tastier than playing online.

I play both, but enjoy the live experience much better. Lot slower than online which can be an adjustment. Raking a big pot towards you and staking chips is a pretty good feeling that doesn't compare to online.

I am unemployed and I do not have the money to play live. But when I was working I got to play a few times live and I really enjoyed it. At the moment I'm just playing online to try to build a good bank and play live once in a while.

Live is much more preferable. You can learn your opponents better, drink tea, smoke. It's much nicer.
Live I play much smarter then online.

live, at friends' houses, and sometimes at poker houses, I've fared better than online, I think I make a good impression on the tables.

I prefer the tables live, it's easier for me to be a winning player, but the comfort of my house is second to none

I like playing live more than online. I find even though you see far more hands per hour online, I get bored and start playing a wider range just to fight the boredom. When I play live I like to take breaks: go to the bar, play blackjack etc.

Yes I play.
I even have a bar and restaurant in my town, where I promote live poker tournaments with various prizes.

I love going to brick and mortar rooms, the sound of the chips, looking at people. But having a busy lifestyle that revolves around family, one can't beat online for convenience.

I prefer live poker, which means I'm on vacation. I am more relaxed at a casino, and I enjoy looking into opponents faces. I enjoy talking to fellow players....can't type fast enough to chat online, and usually play more than one table. Playing live also gives you a better read on other players, since you can only play one table at a time. And the lowest stakes you can find at a casino is $1/2 or $1/3 NLHE. There is more of an adrenalin rush than playing 2 cent/5 cent online.

Nope. I'd like to though. The casino here doesn't run enough poker games in order to.

I enjoy live play much more than online. Avatars are just not as interesting and telling as real faces.

Both?

I tend to play more conservatively in person - as others have mentioned, the kinesthetic of touching chips and stacking them (hopefully) also reminds you that you can't just start another freeroll if you make a bad call - you actually have to be good or ridiculously well-off :D

However, I think I'm fairly easy to read in person, so the anonymity (-ish) of online play benefits me in other ways. I also feel like I have multiple poker personalities, and I enjoy moving from one to the other seamlessly, and I can't accomplish this as effectively live.
