Do you play for the money or for fun ?

i'm really interested to know everyone's opinion on this , everyone i know right now , plays poker for the money mainely and then if its makes money then its fun

I play for the fun and love of the game. I try to win enough to avoid ever depositing by building on freeroll winnings and then playing within the bankroll you build. Of course everyone, I would think, likes opportunities to play at higher levels where there is a bigger payday (the playing for money part) and stiffer competition.

I play for the fun, the money nice to brag about, I like challenges but I dont get into the high expense betting, so its just a hobby, not a living.

When I played Poker for money, it was NOT really funny ... because I sucked at it, without fully realizing my weaknesses. I could be the richest man of the world, but losing real cash over my mistakes and dumb play would still feel agonizing for me.
Nowadays with play money chips I feel as if I found peace with the game. Losing this or that tournament still hurts, but the 'fun factor' still outweighs all the negativity.

Doesn't matter whether its for money or just playing in a cardschat league game or freeroll I play for fun. Sure money is a nice bonus but its just that an added bonus. If the game weren't fun for me I would quit and do something else but the game is something that I enjoy so I keep playing.

Who doesn't want some extra money?
The key to success is to keep treating the game like a game , never tilt , make +EV plays and the money will come sooner or later. And volume , put volume!

I play for fun, but it's weird how happy it makes when I win one Dollar and how angry when I loose 50cent.
