listening to music helps me focus more. but it also can be a distraction and some players and dealers dont like that lol

I do all the time but I am sure I would be better of better of not playing it
since a lot of the time I miss action for trying to find some tune or get on with the music and dream instead of focusing of the game.
If you do listen to music tho , I recommend something classic or something
relaxing that would help your game in fact.

When I play poker, I almost never listen to music. During the game, I try to focus as much as possible on my own capabilities and this allows me to avoid mistakes. Music distracts me.

I sometimes listen to classical music when I play poker, I like to watch movies and play poker, I open 2 tables in the game, I have one cash game and in the other I open a tournament and start a movie and I play and watch because the game is sometimes can be boring and long!

I'll usually listen to music or have a poker stream open on another monitor but if an important hand is happening I tend to mute everything to let myself think clearly.
