No, it is not advisable to play poker at work because management has a way of tracking how long to log into the internet and if you have no reason to use internet in your work you are just looking for trouble.

I play poker at work all the time. It feels good to get paid for playing poker. It helps when you own your own business, but yeah. I usually just freeroll it out at work so I don't mind missing hands if I need to.

I had attempts of play on work but they failed. I loose much of money because it is very bad atmosphere in the work. It is impossible to concentrate on the game.

Wow, wouldn't it be really difficult to concentrate on the hand while constantly alt + tab ing when co-workers/bosses walk past you.

Pretty sure that there should be a separation between work time and leisure time so you are able to focus on both activities to the best of your abilities.

I do not think it's a good idea, both demand attention.

Dividing my focus between the two I will lose income on both.

This in my area, some may not have problems reconciling games and work

Agree,it's hard to play poker while working as a bricklayer...

I work on a sawmill and often play freerolls (and win some extra money :)). No wonder it's hard but it's possible. Of cause I play on smartphone, not on PC. One day I won the same amount that I earned on my job, but it was only once :D.

Sometimes I played. When I have free time, it's nice to earn some extra money.

At work we have to work. Sorry for Antologia. Work brings money. Poker brings a loss of money earned.

There is practically no free time at work.
Work brings me a basic income.
I'm not ready to take this risk
