Pro, you get better, the whole point is to win and like any sport you need to play play play.
Con is you are consumed by the game and it will effect other activities, family and friends. You have to ask yourself honestly, are you good enough to make a substantial profit playing poker as this is the only think that will placate your family and friends and get there support. Everybody wants to say they know the winner.

I go through spells where I don't play for long periods of time, but when I'm playing I play about every day.

I play everyday which started about the end of last year. I am trying to cut back and not play as much but I enjoy playing way too much!! My girlfriend has really been getting on me to play less because it takes away from spending time with her. But I love poker!!!

I also want, and love so much, to play every day, respecting the bankroll rules, but when I have badbeat, we have to stop for a few days, to regain our composure and focus.

If I'm at home and I know I have time if I play every day (the pandemic helped a lot with this !!!!)
I try not to give up anything for poker
if I have things to do I give priority to those things
