No, I like the hand that wins more and mathematically it will always be the AA. The only thing I like more about AK is that it hurts just a little less if you have to fold, so in some ways it may actually save me more money but nothing beats the feeling of seeing two A's. But maybe that's just the burned out former honor student in me.

AKs is just a really fun hand to play — it has great potential and can make strong hands in many ways, while AA can sometimes feel stressful when the board gets dangerous. ♠️

I wouldnt take one or the other - AA is great , best possible starting hand. Aks is great too, we block the two best calling hands AA/KK . I dont know why but for me AA always feels like a set up for me to lose a big pot or win a small one ...

Depends on the situation. AA as a pocket pair would be preferable usually.

Okay... I thought it is funny, but what puzzles me is why so many people prefer AK here. I just do not get it - AA is sooo much better. You people do not play cash games? If you do and take any statistics with reasonable sample size, you can check which cards bring you more profit. Something like this:

Of course, it is going to be a bit random, it is going to be different for everyone, but with a bigger sample, there is just no way to win more with AK than with AA. Impossible. The bigger the sample, the bigger the gap.
