Emily Trott said:I feel the same way. I started playing tournaments in 2018 because I wanted to do something competitive again after a fifteen or so year layoff. The cash is nice, but it is basically just the trophy you get when you win or place in a tournament. When I shot sporting clays and small bore rifle it was a pin, trophy, or merchandise. And in my high school days, my one varsity letter in the 1968-69 season. No matter what the medium of the prize is, the true reward is what you've accomplished.
You and I have a lot in common here. Being a athlete with hopes and dreams of more before getting hurt at the edge on making my dream happen. Poker is the one way I keep competitive juices going and happy with new goals in life. My new hope is to win some live tournements for a ring or something but even it it never happen poker has satisfied my competitive nature.
