Which do you prefer? Cash games or tournaments?

I prefer tournaments too, there's more chance of you winning good money, there's more action in the game, more variance, and more space to apply strategies that you've studied.

Definitely tournaments. You can gain a lot just by paying the buy-in. Less risk for potential bigger win.

I used to play cash games, but now I only play tournaments. Sometimes I sit down to play cash games, but it's not the same anymore as earlier.

For me, the best option is MTT tournaments. I see cash games more as an element of luck. Although 1 time on pokerstars I increased my bankroll to $125 from $2.5 in a few hours and withdrew it. But I still like MTT better. Although if you urgently need to double your bank, then you can try in the cash. But you need to consider it calmly if you lose

I don't know what happens with me in cash games, but I am a dead chicken playing them. Seriously, I don't know if it is because I I am playing with real money instead of tournament chips, but I am really too bad.
But this just happens in No-Limit games, actually... I have played FL 2-7 Triple Draw some time ago for fun, and despite not having won much, I did not lose. But in NLH cash games, my experience is too bad. That's why today I tend to not play it, and just go for SnGs and tournaments.

What is very good about MTTs is that they are a competition. Where all skill, strategy, luck, etc. is conjured.
The problem that MTTs have for me is that it takes a lot of daily time that I often don't have to tell the truth.

That's why I generally play more cash. Omaha is my weakness in both MTT and cash games.
Hold em I play very little in cash although in both Omaha and Hold em it could be said that I play better in cash than in MTT.

Because talk about luck in MTTs, because it really takes a lot of luck sometimes.
You recover in cash from a badbeat, and in an MTT it costs you a lot and sometimes it costs you all the MTT for which you fought so hard.

It's all a theme. But the question is very interesting.

For me, the ideal thing would be to make a good bankroll playing cash, to live from this and then be able to play MTTs with great pleasure without the pressure of losing an MTT and getting in a bad mood.
