Do you prefer live or online poker?

I support the live game, but unfortunately this is not possible in my environment. However, when I played live, I always really enjoyed the game and the whole atmosphere, touching the chips, the cards.
The online poker is a "cold" environment in comparison, the touch of the mouse is not the same as the touch of chips/cards and you don't see your opponent's reactions (facial expressions, movements).
Now, for lack of a better word, online poker is the only chance to play for me.

I am used to playing online poker so directly playing live may not be good for me as I don't know how to hold back my emotions when I have nuts and also when I am bluffing.

I much prefer playing live poker. But right now I think it's more profitable online. For the values of tickets and number of tournaments.

I love both live and online poker. These two varieties of poker are very different from each other, and there are many good points in each of them. When I am very tired during the day and I want to have a quiet evening, then I play online poker. But there are days when I don't have anything to do, then I'm happy to go play live poker and chat with the players. I love poker and for me it doesn't matter if it's live poker or online. For 14 years this game has been a part of my life.

I would like very much to try the live poker so I can get that experience too , but the poker in my country ( Romania ) is very limited and only for very rich people how can afford to lose big money because the buy-ins are very high in contrast with out salary wich is around 300-400 $ / month ...and the buy-ins in the tournaments are over 100$ ...so for me the online poker is very good

The most convenient way for me to play poker is online. I don't need to waste time getting to a place where the live game is played.

In my opinion, online poker is much better suited to me personally and I think most players are as well. Firstly, it is very convenient in the sense that you want to play, turn on your phone and you are already playing or sitting down at the computer. Also, the speed of the game is high and the number of tables is also a big plus, the only thing is that sometimes there are doubts about the fairness of the rooms, especially when people move you all the time. But there are a lot of rooms so I think everyone can find something optimal for themselves.

For me, it depends...

If you are playing with strangers (specially if you are playing against them with real money), I think that is better to be playing online.

If you are playing a home game with your friends, I think that is better to play against them in live. Because you all have a close contact and this is awesome to have with a friend...

Due to severe back pain it’s much more comfortable for me to elevate my legs and lay on chair with a nice position and play online from home. Especially if it’s a long period of time. The casino chairs are often uncomfortable and after a long time in them I am sometimes in pain. Tho, I do enjoy playing live. Q

Online, it is much faster and you can multitable, live can be boring, especially with slow players at the table
