Do you prefer live or online poker?

I like both very much.

I prefer online poker, but would like to play live poker...

I started playing On-line because I wasn't great at playing Poker, I always wanted to see a flop with almost any two cards and of course kept losing, Luckily I was only playing freerolls and fun money games so I didn't lose anything, After studying Professionals play and reading more Poker books I eventually tuned my gameplay and started winning.
Not a lot but enough to be able to play for real money buy-ins on-line, and as my bankroll grew I felt the urge to try some Live games in Pubs and clubs, my first attempts were pretty miserable often going out in the first hour or so, but I realised that People play differently in Live games than they do on-line.
Some would play any 2 cards regardless of what the books teach you and sometimes suck-out or hit a really lucky streak, So I had to change my gameplay in order to be able to compete with them.
But Poker is like that, you have to study your opponents and how they play in order to be able to beat them. Once you can identify the really good players and separate them from the "Fish" it becomes easier to build your chip stack to be able to go for the "Sharks".
You need to adapt and evolve with the game and the people you come up against, Play the Player, not the game, in some instances, but eventually I started making some deep runs in Tournaments, making the Final Table in many pub games, Sometimes even winning, and from there it was just a natural progression into Casino Live poker games.
My first encounter with a professional Player, came from a game I played in a Casino and talking to him taught me a lot, he had played in many European Casino's, and asked if I was interested in joining him, but being married with commitments here in the UK I had to decline his offer.
To me, Poker will only ever be a Hobby, nothing more than that, I don't want to become Rich or Famous from playing Poker, but if I can play a game without it costing me anything, I'm Happy!

The main difference is obvious - this is the lack of live control over the opponent, since the opponents simply do not see each other. In this, online poker is reminiscent of communication in various chat rooms. In live poker, psychology alone will not go far, I love online poker.

i prefer live poker over online, but sometimes i have no choice but to play online.

certainly the online. live has a very good atmosphere, but to evolve strategically it becomes very limited.

Online, I play in maximum comfort and a large number of tables, but live is more beautiful

Online because I can play anytime. There's no poker club where I live so it's hard to play.

I like to play live for fun with friends, for grind i prefer online.

I never actually played live poker ! but i will love to try it .

In person is much better imo

I prefer online poker for the fact that I can play several tournaments at the same time this makes the game less boring

I have not played live porker but I think I would still prefer to play online, it has more advantages such as convenience as well as rakeback

I'm used with online poker cuz I can play a lot of tables on the same time

I don't get a chance to play live. So I can't compare. But playing online is very interesting.

I only play poker online, I want to play live but it's a bit far from where I live

Online! It's more comfortable and I can apply the necessary game volume!

I like live for the social aspect and the fact that games are so much easier. I like online when I don't feel like putting on pants and going out and multitabling is a cure for the boredom you experience live.

I've had nights live where I didn't see playable hands for hours. Hard to stay interested when it runs like that.

Nowadays I prefer to play poker online.

online can be fun, multitables, quickfold, and so on. but yea, i pref offline poker. harder for some

I play online. I don't have the opportunity to play live, although I would really like to try.

There are so different it almost feels like two separate games
I like online for gamespeed and comfort of your home, i like live beacuse it is an entire social event, not just a game.
