I prefer to just be silent. I wont say a word at all. Ive had multiple people call me a bot for not talking, and I just let them think whatever they want.

There's nothing better than seeing trash talk in (cardchat) tournaments therefore answer to that question is pretty obvious

Mostly I'm not talkative. But there are exceptions. It probably depends on the mood.

I usually only talk if I’m using a reverse tell or announcing my action maybe if I’m in a tough spot I count the outs I think I have out loud sometimes. Besides that I like to observe people’s talking and they’re body language and stuff like that.

I don't even turn on the music during the game. It is terribly annoying when someone tries to talk to me during the game.

I don't like talking during the game i think it's disturbing me. Even if someone else is talking it's annoying me.

A little bit of talk here and there is ok
But I need to concentrate on the game
To comment on the hands is ok
That is why I like PokerStars so much
I know I am playing with real people

For the most part I don’t use the chat for online poker and Ive not much experience in live poker but I imagine I’d most likely be fairly quiet. My husband is usually in the same room as me also playing online poker and we talk to each other but if either of us are in a serious hand we are then completely quiet and focused completely on the game.

Depends who that "someone" is ... Depending on that i may salute him or just be quiet while watching this person eventually losing his mind after realizing he's talking with himself

When Im playing online, I disable the chat option. On live poker I like to talk, specially when I play with some friends.

I think conversation is a big part of my live game. Not only do I get to meet all kinds of people, but I have a tendency to get a better understanding of how someone is playing when I talk with them. For the most part I respect those that don't want to be bothered. Many nights I have walked away with poker contacts for local games near my hometown and such. It's just an all around fun way to express my style during a session on the felt.
