I hate cash games, just not the same thrill as in tournaments. The profit if you win a tournament is insane. Once you play a cash game, it's hard to determine when to stop.

Cash games are good if you have little time, you can leave the room at any time and you do not have to increase your bankroll like in the tournament, but in the tournament you need to maximize your bankroll to take the prize!

I believe tournaments are better because like someone said before..you can sit and enjoy a nice stack of chips til the end(or try) but when you play cash games..all it takes is one chase on your smoke show and someone catch on the river before you lose your whole bank roll..and if you lose in tournies..it's ok because you may not lose everything..maybe just a small portion depending on the buy in.

Even though tournaments can have big payouts, I prefer ring games.

Playing ring games to me is the equivalent of a Roman Gladiator battling in the coliseum for his life. They really test how good you really are at the game. There's no blinds going up and you have to endure. Constantly switch things up and keep your opponents guessing if you want to make it out with the money.

when you play a tournament and become the first feeling is incredibly special if the tournament is from many players and beat all

both in my opinion are similar in profitability since not every day you get to final tables in tournaments but when you get compensated the other days, which in cash is more likely to win daily, although the gains will be lower, these are more constant.
I am a player who prefers the tournaments but I also appreciate the cash game and in any case both are good options, to play one or the other does not make you better nor but only varies your style of game a little adapting to the modality

tournaments are completely futile.

You cannot turn a game of chance into a skill based-outcome game.

IT CANNOT WORK. Some people will run luckier in a tournament than others no matter how you twist it but in cash game it evens out undeniably after a long enough grinding career.

Cash gamers who end up with more are truly more skilled whereas in tournaments at the top level there is no correlation at all, you will find they plateu... Even Ivey as great as he is relies on cash games for his main profit in poker because cash game poker is true poker where you can always overcome luck in a long session.

I like both. But cash game more because I can out of tables in any moment. But sometimes I enjoy tournament. I think for earn in cash games you need more knowledge than for tournaments. But in tournaments dispersion is higher than in the ring game.

I prefer tournaments. In cash games I have to practice more because I have often been profiting and then I lose a good amount.

I prefer tournaments
I prefer the ones that do not have rebuy
I think that everyone here has the same chances
on such a tournament you can see how much worth

For me, tournaments are better, the cache is also good but can be very fast and a lot to lose.

Nothing about a cash game is as exciting as the final table of a MTT. Tournaments for me, be it single table or multiple table.

I like tournaments but they are time consuming if you only have a limited time and dont want to commit I will play the cash games, but it can be risky.

I think that a tournament has something special since there are a lot of players with a lot of strategies every round. Cash after you play with the same ppl for 3 hours is just boring.

When I started playing poker I loved cash games but I think if you do not have a safe bankroll it's better to play tournaments, it's safer for you bankroll...
