With my first live game prize I went to dinner with my girlfriend, bought some clothes and saved the rest for future buy ins.
Already the online prizes were all reinvested in games. But none very significant.

My first ever ( for me big win back then ) was in a low stakes buyin MTT I think 3,30 / 4,40 USD buy-in on Pokerstars. It hade somewhere around 3000 people and I ended rank 1 winning a total of just over 1.000usd. Till that point my account probably had never been over 100 usd

I woke up next day thinking I would race to the top haha and started playing cash games with high buy ins. Of-course I lost all in just few days. But it was after that I begin reading and watching about poker. So for me was an expensive lesson, but I needed it

My very first win was on Absolute Poker (very long time ago) and 1st prize was a Sony PSP, Very new at the time. My kids were happy. My biggest cash win was on PurePlay for $750. 1st in the weekly 5k. I got kids christmas with that one.

I USED my first big win to practice, improve,etc.
turned out to be exactly what I needed to do.
I actually got really lucky twice on my way to that prize money.
now I know my mistakes, I took 3rd but should have won.

I stayed up all nigh to win £500. I played Kalloki( I am not sure how you spell it) the next afternoon and lost it very rapidly. I think I was still tired.

I only played online poker, and when I won my first free cash ($2 in a tournament at FullTilt), I invested in a $0.01-$0.02 cash game table. I won a little and left, then went to another table and kept repeating the process until I had a considerable amount.
