Do you remember what did you do with your first prize or money that you won playing

My first poker win was at a friend's house game, there were only four of us there that night so it wasn't big money, but I spent it on my own set of chips so that I could host my own house games! On a semi-related note, I do MUCH better at my friends' house games than I do when I'm hosting poker night at my house, does anyone else experience similar? Actually don't answer that here, I'll start a new thread!

27/5000 1st time I drew in poker.

I took the money and spent it, I was in 6th place on a $ 3.30 Mtt K. It was the first time I played an Mtt over $ 1, only good cards came, I hit my set a few times, finally I got $ 105.
Today all the money I earn I leave to play and get better and better.

The first time I win I think it was 30 dollars in a group cards chat tournament last winter, we won the first place and we played a part to everyone, after that I think it takes me longer to win it than to spend it on Sunday tournaments, once I despair so much for being in the Sunday Storm that I think there I spent almost everything trying to enter that tournament, although if I manage to enter I don't get to the cash.

I can remember every single one of my wins, that feeling is what keeps me coming back for more.

If you want to know what cards I had for the final hands or where the prize money went I really have no clue. The prize money, whether big or small, does not compare to the thrill of winning.

I was thinking about this thread again and I think it made me realise something. It really isn't about the money.

This is more about money than it is about poker. I asked myself what my biggest salary was and what I bought with that? Do you know what you did with your biggest salary? Money gets spent, that is its purpose, the more you have the higher your cost of living.

BRM should be seen in the same light, the more you have the higher stakes you can afford. Just like earning a salary it is not how much you earn but more importantly that you try to earn something.

Was quite a few years ago when I only played poker extremely sporadically. Had about $2 in my account. Played a $1.75 satty to a $7.50bounty and obviously got the seat. Finished 5th in that for around $500ish + the top 5 got a seat to the 109bounty. Grabbed a couple bounties in that as well to take me to roughly $750 so I then went to some cash tables and stopped when it hit about $2k.

Withdrew about half of it and got myself a laptop so I could finally play without being limited to mobile only.

TL;DR - turned $1.75 into $2k over about 12hrs and bought a laptop [emoji14]
