people get addicted sick , and poker links take advantage of it, you could even call it perversion what they do to people

I think everyone has a different attitude towards poker. Poker has nothing but a positive experience for me.

For me there are more positive sides to poker, it’s a very cool and difficult game that develops thinking, the negative side of poker is when you can lose a lot of money playing it)

As everything in life it has positive and negative aspects, just have to watch yourself how you go about it, poker is ok for a hobby, everything else is too much

Despite everything, there is still a lot of positive aspects in the sport, as long as we know our limits!

I think what you really mean is the Poker "Sites" never lose because they rake 10% off the top for every game, Sure they do because they need to make a Profit and the only way they can do that is from a percentage rake off everyone, casinos do it, so why not on-line poker sites?
The thing is that not everyone can be patient and create a bankroll from Zero to several hundred Dollars, because they are in too much of a hurry trying to get "Rich".
Poker is not an easy way to achieving Wealth! It takes hard work and a lot of practice, and while you are practicing, it is going to cost you, It's the simple truth, For every player who works at the game, and can create a BR from nothing, there are Hundreds or even Thousands of other players who think the answer is to throw money into a poker site and if it does not go well, then throw in a little bit more.
I have always played for free! and even now if I buy-in to a game for $5/$10 dollars and lose, I lose nothing because the money was never mine to begin with, I have never deposited on any Poker Site, and built several small Bankrolls from freerolls, So even if the Poker site suddenly goes broke and stops altogether, I really cannot lose my money.
PKR.com went into receivership and declared Bankruptcy years ago and I had over £128.00 in their site, was I worried? Hell no! it was all free money from freerolls and it didn't cost me a Penny, I was Sad that I could not play on the Site any more, as I used to enjoy playing there, But I didn't cry over it.
You might see a player now and again making Thousands of Dollars in a Huge Tournament having won their seat from a Freeroll or a $1.00 dollar Satellite game, It happens! But, Stories like that are very rare, like "Fairy Stories" because for every player that does that, there are Millions of players who don't.
Are there negatives in playing Poker? YES! It can cost you, and not only money, but relationships and Friendships if things go bad.
Positives? YES! I am positive that I have never lost a Dime! Playing On-line Poker. TRUTH!

I'm sure there are people on this crazy planet who will find something negative in reading, music or even an evening walk, not to mention such a controversial game as poker. So everyone decides for themselves how they see that object or event. For me personally, any action that I take is automatically positive, even if I don’t like it - because otherwise I simply wouldn’t do it Find something you like and you will always see only the positive sides in it, but if doubts creep in about the negative consequences, it’s most likely not for you.

Well, for me, the dispa constantly brings out a lot of negative things and I can’t stand it anymore

On days when you sit down and play as much as you want without ever winning a single hand, it's hard to find any positives. Of course, you can't win all the time, but when you are constantly doomed to fail with every hand, you can't help but think negatively about the game.

I think negative.Easly cause addiction,and don't affect well on nerves and mental state.As well as it makes very tired.

At this moment for Me in Poker the All is positively! Don't see any negatives!.. If to say shortly and directly: at the present time Poker helps to live!

You're not playing against the house. Why would you even bother to think about something like this?

Actually, the sites do lose in some games. At times they'll advertise a LARGE guarantee on a tournament that doesn't get met by the number of buyins. In these cases the poker site actually eats that loss.
What about the costs of running a site? Advertising alone must cost a fortune.
Do you suggest they should run the site at no cost to the customer? Why would they do that? WHO would choose to do that?

Sounds like you're trying to place blame elsewhere instead of accepting responsibility yourself. Did the site make you play? Did they purposefully take advantage of you? (I'd suggest 'casino' is and does... but everyone KNOWS this).
As far as poker goes, I look at it like this >>> I am very happy that the poker site offers their service to me. I am able to log onto their site from my office and sit at a table with players from all around the World and play a game I very much enjoy. AND... If I CHOOSE to, I can play in games that cost $$ to enter with an opportunity to win money!! How awesome is that!?!?!?!

'THEY' don't do anything to people aside from providing them a service. It is YOU that chooses to do the negative parts to yourself!

Take some responsibility for yourself. (a.k.a. 'Grow up'). Quit blaming the site(s).

The choice is up to you... If you feel you are negatively addicted to online poker... get some help! DO NOT PLAY! Blaming the site won't resolve your issues. If you're complaining because you're not winning... then do something about that. Study and learn to get better at the game. It is that simple.

I see zero negatives. All of it is positive!

I play for fun and see only the positive sides, this is poker, so there’s no place without positivity

If you regularly are ITM, you are probably quite positive. If you are losing every game and blame it on bad beats and you think the games are fixed, probably negative. If you are playing for entertainment you must be positive or what would be the point?
