I don't usually use a card protector. If I'm in the 1 or 9 seat I keep my right hand slightly over my cards to prevent the dealer from raking them in. Any other seat I just keep my cards close to the outer rail of the table and haven't ever had a problem.

i have tried a card protector but it keeps slipping of my screen,might try using it live next time.
