I have never played live myself but I would probably just use a chip out of my stack

I sometimes use a card protector or a chip but the majority of the table me I keep my left hand on top of my cards.

I recommend keeping your right foot on top of your cards, that is the best way to protect them. It is much harder for the dealer to snag your cards from under your foot than from under your hand.

I usually keep a finger or two on my cards or a chip from my stack. Keep in mind in some poker rooms you can't cover the cards with your hands fully.

I once used a card protector but was so used to using a chip that I would forget to use it. I ended up spending too much of my attention to make sure I used it that it became a major distraction. Never used one after.

When I played live years ago, I had a little Bulbasaur figurine.

I also used a gold-plated Charizard card from Burger King, back when they were doing the promotion for the 1st Pokémon Movie.

I think this is silly, poker has created this to make more money with accessories! do you really think that you need this to protect your letter, no one will steal them, no wind from the south will come to you at the table lol, I do not have it and I would not use it either

I use a card protector that my wife bought for me. Before that I used a piece of Jade. Long ago, I used a rare Michael Jordan card in a card protector....somebody at my table bought it from me for $100, which I promptly lost with the rest of my stack....seems like a good idea to use a card protector that somebody else might want to buy....next time, I'm going to use my 96 piece new set of Nortake china, so that somebody will buy that from me....Craig's List isn't working for that....trouble is, the set is in 3 large boxes, each weighing about 25 lbs....that might annoy the other players at the table...LOL
