My family does not know how to play, and they do not care that I play. They never said anything negative about my hobby.
It is even funny, whenever I leave the computer my mother immediately asks: Lost? lol

for me my partner also used to play, though less often than me, there are times when we sit up hands-up and play against each other a little good mocha when we are next to each other and we see each other's cards and we are against each other: D

My wife has always been very supportive, and has also enjoyed our trip to Vegas for me to play in the wsop Seniors event. In fact she won more on the slots than I did from all the tournaments I played!

in my circle of friends and family its better not to mention anything gambling related. it is not viewed as a good thing, even as a hobby. with that said, i dont depend on anyone so there is no reason to even talk about it.

Not at all, I tell them that it is a strategy sport and they answer me that this is a vice haha the truth is this is harmful you have to know how to handle it and be very careful.

Nope! Lol. My wife doesn’t really play any card games. The kiddos are too young to know yet and I don’t really play around them anyway. However, my wife definitely doesn’t give me a hard time about it, but I do not let it take away too much of my time, so that helps!

In all this time I could see that my family does not support my hobby, poker itself became my life, I understand that you do not always win but they believe that it is a total waste of time and that takes away the desire to continue at home, hahahaha

It seemed strange to my loved ones, and they had a somewhat ugly opinion of the game, since at another time it gained a bad reputation. I explained what it's like to play poker now, which is cool and even fashionable. I told them it's a game of skill and dexterity. They were more satisfied.

What a question!! If poker is qoute on qoute my hobby. then my loved ones are not there yet in term of support. I think its a lack of understanding...and the only way i believe i can convince them is with results. Otherwise they still believe im mostly gambling like playing roulette and black jack.

Hi! My husband also plays poker. Thanks to him, I learned about poker and became interested in it. Of course, he likes my hobby.

His level of play is much higher than mine. He often gives me good advice. I share my victories and failures with him. This is perfect. Poker is my hobby at the moment. He is also an important part of my life. Lately, I need some distraction from the problems and poker helps me with this.
