I believe that the proposition is presented vaguely. Cannot edit the first post so I take this opportunity to clarify.

The proposition is for those who "don't know how to play poker". That is, those who are not even aware that poker exist. A part of me realizes that I may not make an effort to introduce them to poker. There is a pit fall to playing poker which is gambling whence if uncontrolled could loose considerable amount of money, even livelihood. Also have heard of relationships destroyed over gambling. Poker has this risk of gambling to the uninitiated. Perhaps there are other hobbies that could do them more good.

Just like for peeps that do not smoke, the advice is don't learn to smoke. Because there are bad consequences if not controlled properly.

To those who play poker, the advice is to properly control the bankroll & only gamble what you can afford to loose.

Great advice, you should never waste your precious time learning how to do something unless you are absolutely certain you are going to be among the best to ever do activity.

you dont have to learn to play well, just have fun !

there is a room for argue, then you young, you just learn things, there is no room to the glory or the 1st place in something...
so what i trying to say, you never know for sure that "activity" is for you and must be competitive...

I prefer to play with those who don't know how to play, if you don't know how to play, keep it up, my pocket thanks you kkkkk

This seems like a philosophical question. Fortunately or unfortunately, we all already study poker. I think learning poker is beneficial; I know many cases where people play poker without proper training and deep knowledge. It would be more accurate to say, "If you don't know how to play poker, don't play for money

Weird advice. Everyone can and should learn poker, if they think it is interesting. It‘s not like it is the highway to bankruptcy. It can be a nice social game too. 🙂

I think this is terrible advice because if you don't know how to do something but you like it, you have to give a lot of effort and learn it because if you like poker and you don't learn it's nonsense so if you don't know how to take it and learn how to play poker here's the best advice you can give and if you can't find those who can and learn the main effort because if you try, you will still find love who will notice it and help you any situation
