I would never drink alcohol while playing poker for money in order i want to gain money ^^. If i just play with friends for fun its ok for me. In a casino i want to be clear in my decisions.

Sometimes i drink 1 or 2 beers when i play but only freerolls

When i have in my plans to play a big tournament i dont drik, because few times ive tried something like that and it was wrong for me. I couldnt focus and i was loosing almost all the time because i was risking with low hands

I tried playing poker while having drunk some alcohol to become more aggressive and less afraid on my game , I was testing myself. Results were idiotic at least , raising with Q5o 45 blinds sb , getting reraised all in from bb , instant call , wtf , no regrets ... more similar hands , stupid poker at its greatness , better tight and afraid rather than drunk loose stupid agro hahaha

Never used to but after playing live and most of the time in sports clubs or pubs, I feel obliged to at least buy a beer. Online I normally have a small drink as well now. I would never play if I was feeling tipsy in any way though, I have lost a lot of my bankroll that way. lol

When I've had a few pops in the evening and everyone else in house is turning in early, I sometimes head to the computer for some 'invincible' poker playing. And unless I'm really on a heater, the end result is always not good. And then hating the check of the bankroll the next morning.

Drinking does not help concentration. I would probably make the worst decisions if I was drinking. Now "a" glass of wine or "a" beer is good at any time of day lol.
