What's the dumbest reason you've ever called an all-in?

I'll start: "He looked nervous."

¿Cuál es la razón más tonta por la que has decidido apostar todo tu dinero?

Empezaré yo: "Parecía nervioso".
I think the dumbest reason I bet everything was because I thought, “You can't have a strong hand again.”
I had won several hands in a row and was convinced that luck was on my side. So I bet all my chips more out of optimism than logic. It turned out that yes, he could have a good hand again... and he did. 😅
Since then I have tried to remember that cards have no memory, although sometimes my brain still believes otherwise.

As a rule, the strategy doesn't take into account possible unforeseen circumstances.Going all-in relies heavily on luck and is extremely dangerous.I go all in when I want to sleep.

Probably the stupidest reason is to basically bet all the chips trying to knock a player out of the tournament.

When I have projects to form colors, stairs, I have bet everything I end up losing. Also when it's time to have lunch, or go to sleep.

Last time he played the same way - this time he's definitely bluffing. 🤡

When a player is leaning more towards a bluffing line, I usually try to see the hand through to the end.

The dumbest way to go All In is to do it randomly. You need to build a scenario to convince the Villain that you're strong; suddenly going All In on the River is not one of those ways.

I had a gut feeling. Deciding that this time they'll definitely fold or that I'm definitely ahead without relying on hand ranges, probabilities, or genuine reads.

I had a flush draw on the turn, and my flush hit the river.
I was so confident that I was going to win, that I went all-in, the villain paid and was full house.

Mine was probably, “He can’t possibly have it again.” That’s usually a dangerous thought because it’s based on emotion, not logic. I convinced myself my opponent was just bullying the table and talked myself into a hero call with a marginal hand. Of course, he turned over exactly what he was representing. That hand was a good reminder that poker doesn’t reward creative excuses it rewards solid reasoning. Now, whenever I catch myself making a call because of a feeling, a hunch, or a story I’ve invented in my head, I take a step back and ask whether the actual evidence supports the decision.

Probably calling because you're tilted after losing a previous hand to the same player. Instead of making a logical decision, you're calling out of frustration and hoping to get your chips back. I see this happen a lot in freerolls, where emotions often take over and players make calls they normally wouldn't.

Probably when I convince myself that there's no way he has a strong hand, even though all the signs say he does.
