There was actually some speculation that Isildur1 is not just 'one' young Swede, but perhaps a couple/few of them, teaming their young minds together to multi-table HU vs. the biggest Western World high stakes poker pros. The article was written by a guy who plays $25/50 and was one of the first players to play vs. Isildur1 at the beginning of Nov. & ended up dropping ~$500K to him. Maybe I should dig up the article. Of course it was all just speculation but was kind of interesting.

Dwan also invited Isildur1 to his Live HeadsUp challenge in London but it would seem that Isildur1 didn't take up the offer as I belive the event began on Nov.17th.

Not sure why Isildur1 chooses to challenge Antonius & Ivey in PLO when he was doing so well at NLHE HU. And also seemingly putting oneself at a disadvantage by not only playing 6 HeadsUp tables at once but also to be playing vs. two of the very best in poker.... at the same damn time?!?!?!

I'm one of the crowd voting/hoping/cheering for Isildur1. I think it'd be cool to see this 'unknown' come along and put a dent in highstakes poker as we've come to know it. GO Isildur1 GO!!!!!

just thinking to myself now....the likes of phil ivey, mike matasow, and a couple of other pros actually own a share of full tilt poker..at least im 99% sure they do...so if they do own a share, im 99% sure again that they could easily find out the name of isildur... cause he must give his details for dposting, plus since its high stakes im sre hed had have to giv id passport or some form of proof....so then of course thel ikes of ivey wold find ot who the guy is...i just dont think theycare enoughabout the persn to discuss it..they just wanna play poker, doesnt matter who it is.

Well its a good question, and my speculation is pretty shallowly based.

It could also be I am just not convinced that Isuldur is as good as Durrrr. I think Durrrr and Antonius are more evenly matched, especially when you take PLO into account. And I think Ivey is at least as good as any of them. If I were Dwan I would hate to see any dollar that was once mine go into his pocket.

It was close to a race on the flop. Patrik was ahead by polly about 10% equity.

The five was probably only very moderately scary for him.

Patrik is turning out to be quite a winner in this whole EPIC drama.

The funny thing about Durrrr is that I saw him playing a few days ago against a guy, which I can't exactly remember the user name, 1Daj....something, but they were playing $200k pots and using the crappy new feature to run it twice. Who does that? Durrrr's J's took down both the pots against the guy's AQ. lol

Anyway, I definitely saw Isi lose about $1.2mill to Ivey a day or two ago, but he can hold his own because he was playing Antonius at the same time and was up about $800-900k.

Durrrr is taking his shot at him again currently. They were playing NL Hold'em and looked like they pretty much started off and were almost even, but now have moved to Omaha with starting stacks of $100k.

But the word "Busto" when used in sentence with the name "Durrrr" usually illicits scorn and a laugh from me.

But at the moment I am just kinda shrugging my shoulders.

I spose it is lucky for Dwan he has so much other stuff going on...

Didnt wanna start a new thread but i jus saw this on FTP.
Durrrr vs Isildur1 on 3 tables on $500/$1000 PLO. Isildur1 is also 3 tabling PA on $500/$1000 PLO aswell lol.
But Isildur1 has beaten Durrrr on all 3 of them tables for $300k+ lol.
(i only came in half way through but i've seen Durrrr go bust 3 times to Isildur1).
I think PA busted twice to Isildur1 aswell lol. And now Zigmund is givin Isildur1 a go at $500/$1000 PLO lol.
Isildur1 is on some monster roll, but Durrr was playin bad against him. Donkin off big bets with nothin while Isildur1 held the nuts lol.
Looks like Durrrr jus cant beat Isildur1. Better stick to NLHE Durrr hahaha.
