I agree, KQs is a very nice hand to play. Being suited gives it strong potential to make flushes, and the connected cards also make it great for straights.martinoni said:KQs is very nice for flushes and straights
I agree with you. A suited connector like QJ can be a very interesting hand to play. It has good potential to make both straights and flushes, which can lead to strong hidden hands.mkt said:For me a good suited conector as like QJ
I agree, AK is definitely one of the most exciting starting hands in poker. It’s very strong and has a lot of potential, especially when it’s suited because it can make the nut flush.Prem said:My favorite starting hand is Ace-King (AK). It’s a very strong and flexible hand because it has great potential to make top pair with the best kicker, and it also has good chances to make strong draws like straights or nut flushes if suited.
Of course, pocket aces (AA) are the strongest starting hand mathematically, but AK is often more exciting to play because it can create big pots and interesting situations.
In the end, every hand has to be played differently depending on position, stack sizes, and opponents, but AK is definitely one of the most fun hands to see preflop.
Pocket Kings are definitely a great hand to start with. Having such a strong advantage preflop gives you a lot of confidence going into the hand.Ch3tz said:pocket kings for sure. Im a fan of the advantage at the start
That’s very true. Pocket aces may be the strongest starting hand in Texas Hold’em, but poker is really about how you play your cards, not just the cards themselves.anasslaaleg said:For many players, the dream hand is pocket aces the strongest starting hand in Texas Hold’em. But poker isn’t just about having the best cards; it’s about how you play them. Sometimes a suited connector like 9♠️-10♠️ can be just as exciting because of the big potential for straights and flushes.
Everyone has that one hand they love to see when the cards are dealt the one that instantly makes the table feel a little more interesting.
Last couple of months I got crakked a lot of AAHoubi37 said:Every poker player has a favorite starting hand. Some prefer premium hands like pocket aces or pocket kings because they offer a strong advantage before the flop.
Others enjoy playing suited connectors because they can create exciting hands like straights and flushes.
Of course, the strength of a hand also depends on the situation, position, and the action at the table.
Still, it’s always interesting to know which hands players enjoy playing the most.
What is your favorite starting hand and why?
