A hand I often play is Ace-10 of the same suit. I have a good win rate with this hand.

My favorite hand has to be Ace-King (Big Slick).

Not because it always wins — actually, it can be frustrating sometimes — but because it creates interesting spots. It’s strong enough to 3-bet, 4-bet, and apply pressure preflop, but postflop it really tests your discipline. When you hit, you usually have top pair top kicker. When you miss, you have to think carefully about ranges and board texture.

Pocket pairs like Queens or Kings are obviously great too, but they can feel more straightforward. AK feels more dynamic and skill-based.

If we’re being objective, most of us would say AA, AK suited, or KK. Those hands are strong and easy to play. That said, a hand I personally enjoy a lot is JT suited. It’s a hand that connects very well with the board and is often close to completing strong draws like straights or straight-flushes, which makes it fun and flexible to play.

Another hand I really like is pocket tens. For some reason, it seems to hit a set more often than it should for me. It’s also a solid hand that can be played in different ways depending on the situation, which makes it interesting rather than just straightforward.

I love pocket pair. But my best hand would be (J 10) or (10 9)suited this hands do well on most of the floor, the almost always connect, whether it's a flush draws, straight draw etc. very dangerous hands

Most people would probably say pocket Aces, but a hand I really like is any Ax suited. Many times they end up completing flushes or even wheel straights, from Ace down to Five.

I do not have any favorite two cards. I like seeing ones that give me the higher number of chances to end up with a premium hand. Although I like JT suited and usually will play them aggressively, a raise and a 3 bet before I act, then they go in the muck,. UNLESS, I have a solid read that the two players are maniacs, then maybe I MIGHT stay and go ALL IN with a 4 bet.

My favorite card is A ♠ K ♠ (solid AK). I love it because it is one of the strongest beginner hands and very versatile. With a strong kicker, strong pull plates or even the nut flöss, you can create a top pair with it. Psychologically it also feels great to play with, as it often dominates weaker aces and kings, especially in preflop all-in situations.

I’d say it’s AA, but that hand is pretty straightforward. So I’d say it’s a hand I really like to think deeply about, because it gives me a lot of playability:

My favorite hand is AK suited. It’s strong, aggressive, and full of potential you can dominate weaker aces, make top pair with top kicker, and still have flush and straight possibilities. It plays well in both cash games and tournaments, especially when you’re the one applying pressure. It’s not as comforting as pocket aces, but that’s part of why I like it, it forces you to think post-flop and rewards good decision making rather than just autopilot value.
