There is no fear in poker as it is a very healthy and fun sport. Poker is all about enjoying yourself and learning to do your best in every tournament.

it's normal to be afraid when you play poker
but this fear I believe is due to our feeling of playing badly and not fear of losing
especially since the objective is to reach the final table and why not win thr tournament

you must not be afraid but rather be patient and focus in the game

1- have a strong mind
2 - no ego
3 - respect your playing range
4- become aware of your position at the table and what decision to make based on this position and the hand received
5- mark your opponents (NIT, TAG, Fish et) it help

That's the thing, but I've never had any fear in poker. Maybe because I started playing poker in offline freerolls in my city. Except when I won a freeroll at a poker club and it was late night (around 2 AM). But this fear was not related with poker, but that someone did not rob me at night.

I think some people mistake nerves in a big spot or an unfamiliar setting for fear.
I've played for nearly 30 years, live and online and to this day I'll get a rush of unexpected nerves in some spots in live games. Never fear, as I have enough seat time to not be afraid and be confident in my play, just random bouts of nervousness that pass within a few hands.
My take on it is if you're feeling fear while playing, you shouldn't be in that game.
