So does this mean that we should start now to talk you into actually doing it?

As much as it seems the whole world is against you, it would not be beneficial to your win rate to move to stars. I know you arnt moving anyway, but if you do, you will give way any edge you have gained against the regs in the past 2 weeks~~ from your notes and data. Some of those little notes you have are utterly invaluble.

You wont run bad forever, it just doesnt happen, fact. Once the pendulum swings the opposite direction the mindcrush you will put on your opponents will have them /reloading like crazy yo.

Positivity FTW!

yeah, i thought about it some and definitely think you're right. in fact i've been particularly studious in my note-taking, probably way more into notes than most players are, so i've got a wealth of info on everyone. i love the little color-tags FTP has that you can designate players with. i wish stars had the same

Nice. Keep at it. If you don't blow a gasket, you can do it.

If possible I'd like to get in on something like this too. Not sure how we could structure it but I badly need to motivate myself to play more as well. This whole 1k hands/day thing isn't gonna cut it.

(motivational speech incoming)

Good lord.

You lot are crazy. I've got a full-time job which is crazy busy, two kids, a wife, a house I'm decorating. I play golf and go out a couple of evenings a week. I average about 2k hands a day playing 6-8 tables (and I work MTTs in there as well).

If I had half the skill at ring as you lot I'd be a happy man. Now get off your asses and play before life makes it legitimately difficult.

Yep, you're right. Sorry Makwa, I don't think I can give you another pick after the fact as it gives you the chance to find a prime spot in between other picks.

But I'll give you jokish's pick 'cause he was too late and picked without caring what anyone else had picked. If you win, you can fight it out with him over who gets the money. :)

go for it...if you win keep the money..wont hear any complaints out of me

so i was screwing around with google just now and discovered that this thread is the first result when you search full tilt prop bet or prop bet full tilt, without quotes required :). it comes before a thread about phil ivey betting a million on the super bowl. it's also the first if you google 200NL prop bet or prop bet 200NL

or at least it's the first result for me. i don't know if it's different for others though

i'm famous! more famous than phil ivey!

Mid-week 3 update:

The end of our short month is nearing. The good news is that I'm winning money again! The bad news (for me, good news for a few of you) is that I haven't put in as many hands as I should have. A number of factors -- school, friends, the need to regain my confidence, the games containing more regulars lately -- have all contributed to this. I think if I really play my ass off from this weekend on until the end of the bet, I can pull it off. The difficult part may be playing my best through all of that and not having any psychological meltdowns or other setbacks.

Fun hands!:

This guy is actually a winning reg who plays like 30/14. Yes, he plays 30/14 at FR and wins, pretty crazy, right? His flop float OOP with the gutter and BDFD just seems like spew though. Then the turn and river were awesome for me.

Took some risks on this hand and played it all sorts of tricky. Checked the flop because this particular player was very aggressive, and I thought he'd bet his hands that didn't have showdown value close to 100% of the time. If he has a hand like QQ-TT or 55-88 I don't really want to bet since he's folding those too much on this board and I'm never getting three streets from those anyway. When he doesn't bet I figure him for something that isn't air. He picked a damn good pair to have! On the river I pull out the fake blocking bet, but it didn't end up mattering since I just coolered him.

Up-to-date graph goodness:

I see you should place in the RTR rake race. How much rake did you pay so far this month to get there? About $2500 ?

i was ending my session but there was a mega fish on the one table, the guy you ended up stacking. i didn't even want to play any more but figured i'd stay there and browse the internets til he was dead because he was insanely bad

and yep, right at $2522 rake paid for the month

Got lucky to be the one to take his stack. I think the whole table was after him. It broke up after i stacked him iirc. :D
