can't believe everton beat liverpool, everton are like 1 of only a couple of teams i despise. What made up for it was that the chennels coverage of the game for some reason cut to adverts for about 10 seconds in the 127th minute, and by the time it returned, the goal had been scored

Not on my TV it didn't

. It went off like 20 secs before the goal and came bak on 10 secs before it..... Come on you blue boys!

Yeah the derby's are usually pretty poor, as there's just too much at stake in them.

as for all the socks getting thrown on to the pitch.... there's a story to that.

Coz Everton want to move to Kirkby ( Notorious suburb of Liverpool ). People who come from Kirkby are called 'Sock Robbers' ( I'll let you draw your own conclusions on that, and it's not very complimentary). So Liverpool fans were sort of taking the mick out of the blues
