BTW, I'm taking a shot at 200nl right now.

So far so good.

I was thinking of playing in the ftops, so looked at my tilt bankroll to see what it was like. $1.18 imo, can't even afford a $1 tourny due to sick rate, FTOPS is a distant dream . Missed the plo8 1 anyway

Why didn't you just 3-bet him all-in preflop? Flatting this OOP sucks. I'd rather fold than flat there.

What was your plan if you miss the flop, check/fold?

Depends on the pair and the raiser imo.

I wish I could cut these mistakes out of my game ! Played AK OOP + stacked off on flop with flush draw + gutshot straight draw + missed ! And some other little mistakes but im annoyed because of that mistake.

Is it ok to set mine say 55 - 99, + say 3bet 10s or is it villian dependant

That's generally not a mistake, depending on how the whole hand went obviously.

Yes vs a nit shortstacker like that I am.
If I dont hit an A or K I'm out out of there.

I've been up against QQ+ so much shoving preflop againts shortstackers I don't wanna shove AK pre .

I'm running so awesome again ! Some of the worlds biggest fishes on my tables and they are both in god mode vs me. One of them now has a 700bb stack playing 64/45. Calls down with Q3 toppair every time, but I have aces twice and he doesn't...

Then KK<AQ 4bet pre and shove on flop only to see him river an A.

I hate my life.

Oh yeah and shoving KK on a T high flop to be timebank rolled by AA is life tilting.

Yeah, like WV says, get him in pre. Any time you're ahead of the range that you put the shortstack on, and you don't have too many players behind you, put them in pre as they might shove flop with anything.

And, I don't think he wasn't so much counting on a two outer as hoping against hope you would fold a weak ace.

Just don't put all the shortstackers in the same category though. Stay out of the way of the ones that have nit stats 'cause they're the ones that are playing proper shortstack and just not trying to limit their loss.

Villain dependent. If he'll spew post flop and pay us when we hit, set mining is fine. If he's just going to fold when we play back at him folding/3betting become the best options.

Ie he had nit shortstacker stats.. thus my range for him is QQ+ MAYBE JJ
I don't like flipping vs that at best,

And jezus christ the godmode fish got an 800BB+ stack now, that's 214 at a 25nl table.

This is so depressing I cant win a single hand vs him.

Nit SS don't open KQo from UTG+1. His stats could be 5/5/5 and I'd still 3bet him all-in with AK. If you won't, just fold. It's much better than flatting and folding when you miss.
