Are you studying the game?
Are you reviewing HHs?
Are you trying to improve by sweating with higher stakes players?
Are you listening to the better players and adapting concepts that they are telling you?
Are you focusing when your playing?
Are you thinking I am not going to spew this session when you play?
Are you concentrating fully on poker when playing?not having AIM, MSN etc on?

Ask yourself these dude, its not easy to progress up the limits. Before you decide to give up are you maximising chances of becoming a good player?

personally i do unless they're real nitty like 6/6 or 3/3 stuff like that

and enty last month was the hardest month of poker for me, i had my first losing month (i play 25nl fr) and it was frustrating because in my mind i was thinking "if i cant even beat these stakes why bother playing"

well i reviewed almost all of my hands and just realized i was running awful and also i found a leak in my game which was turning small pairs into bluffs do to a lack of hitting sets

my point is yes my last month was awful and just frustrated the crap outta me but i know things will turn around and i know things will turn around for you, you're a good player capable of beating your stake and i think you know it

swings happen and shit happens, tough it out, play solid winning poker and by the end of the month it WILL turn around

edit: fwiw running bad for a month is gonna happen and if you cant handle it things are just gonna get worse for you

Yeah my january was awful too. Lost the most ever, also mostly at 25nl fr.
I know bad runs will happen, it's just very demoralising to have it happen at micro stakes while every one keeps saying how easy they are. Like you, I have lost confidence and it's probably not all run bad-ness.

When you run bad you tend to play worse too, right so it's probably like 60/40 or 50/50.

I don't know, I just have the feeling now that I won't improve and that I'm just putting money online and losing it all.

I'm still rolled and everything but it doesn't help.
