Actually, I dont mind the chk on that flop with the nuts. But Ice ffs stop with the 'I run worst than anyone!', PLZ!

Yeah I typically slow play only two flopped hands - nut flushes and boats, and it has to be villain specific.

Also I never said "I run worst than anyone!" ... please let me know where I said that, because I never have, EVER. Here's a list of people that run worse than me:

You
Zachie
BW
Switch
Enty
My Friend Justin
Justin's Mom
Jaws the Shark
That HOT HOT HOT Blonde from the TV show CHUCK
etc
etc
etc

It's omaha :), but for holdem that would be true probably.. Depends on how crazy they were playing, and looking at stacks i'd say pretty crazy..

I don't think you encounter "regs" until at least nl25.

You obviously haven't met Minicid the bazillion tabling 5nl reg who played super solid. I left stars in november, get back in January and he's at 25nl.

So I guess he's not bad.

Yeah the 3 putting money in were all Stars MSFR regs, they were doing flips. The other 3 were raking in the fpps (who knew you could get 2 fpps every hand at 1c/2c :)) and just folding practically every hand.

About to take a 25nl shot. Probably sounds really lame to all of you, but I'm a bit nervous. Any words of wisdom will help :D

Not lame in the slightest man.. big deal actually. Most people on these forums that play cash are probably $10NL or less or at least no higher than $25

Just take some deep breaths and remember: $25 NL is the same game you were playing at $10 NL. You ground up to here, stick to the game that got you there.

Just play the same game that's been beating 10nl. There will be some more players who are better but you're likely still better than the heavy majority of them. Especially at FR, if you're getting raised, it's likely a hand, they're not playing back at you that much. I always do the last part, I'm like "well now that I'm at the new level obviously they're better and they know they're 3-bet is light I'll 4-bet 77 oh well they know my 4-bet is light so they'll 5-bet shove light ok I'll call probably ahead of his range wtf AA again???"

ok so that's a bit of an exaggeration but especially for example you cbet a flop, get raised, they probably have a hand and just fold and move on. Just try to play the same game that was successful at 10nl and just adjust to specific opponents after you get a lot more hands on them. Good luck :).

Words of wisdom: Don't adjust your game at all.

It's dangerous to try and overadjust when you move up, either by playing too tightly or too aggressively. Just play your normal game and you'll be fine. I don't think there's a measurable difference in average skill between 10nl and 25nl, so if you beat one you'll beat the other.

Anybody else play the warmup? I hate donkaments so much, the only reason why I registered is because I have this gut feeling that I'll take down 1st place. And how could my gut be wrong, right? RIGHT?!

Just took 11th in a 1k gtd on UB. Spent $12 in rebuys and add ons (1 rebuy, 2 addons) but made $29. Not much, but it was a real morale booster after this last week.

this game really just seems ****ing silly when you're getting 2 outered every single hand. there is just no way on the planet for me to have the best hand at showdown anymore. if i weren't so jaded by this shit already, i'd be amazed

well whining about a coinflip is pretty bad (and tilting to people who just took 12 beats worse than that in the past hour)...

but rampant two outers are fair game
