my strategy going into today was to promptly lose a stack the very first hand of my session vs. some dude who posts UTG+1 and calls a large raise with T8o to magically flop trips, and then spend the next 2 hours grinding it back in small pots

it wasn't a bad beat. i'm posting poker content i.e. how my session went. i've done so before (i.e. played x hands ended up x buy-ins -- this time i just happened to break even). don't get desperate man

i had the bet in mind when i posted so it obv didn't meet my criteria. when i'm whining, you'll know!

i'm actually pretty happy with it

I refuse to believe that is all from bad play.
Just finished a session where I got anally penetrated every time I saw a flop.

flop top 2 with AJ vs a set, AA vs shortstacker who flops 2 pair, AQ flop 2, shortstacker floats flop, calls on a draw on turn and hits his flush on river, another fish floats on K high flop with TT, obv hits set vs my AK on turn.

I mean who floats to hit a 2 outer ? when I got there that TT guy had $9, I left and he had $60 all from me. And he was so baaaaad.

I don't get why I'm never consistently winning. Is it something I do ? Am I really that bad ?

see, if i posted something like that ^^, it would count (not that i blame you)

sounds like a lot of coolers man. it's only around 6k hands and you're not down $, so you can't really jump to the conclusion that you're playing bad

I know but this is just the past week. Trust me you dont want to see 2009 as a whole..

I don't know anymore, I guess it's possible I run bad or something. Although 2 months at the micros is stretching it I think.
