if he'll call with those draws then you want to bet the turn since the flush will miss more than 80% of the time. you can make it pretty small of course because you certainly don't want him to fold them. plus some of his other hands picked up a straight draw on the turn. and if he has a pair, well who folds pairs?

that guy played the hand so spectacularly i'm in awe

Or, he will stack off with bottom pair for 146 big blinds:

BTN: $35.14 (35.1 bb)
SB: $108.89 (108.9 bb)
BB: $309.93 (309.9 bb)
Hero (UTG): $146 (146 bb)
MP: $91 (91 bb)
CO: $104.50 (104.5 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is UTG with J♣J
Hero raises to $3.50, 4 folds, BB calls $2.50

Flop: ($7.50) 6 3♠ 2♣ (2 players)
BB bets $4, Hero raises to $25, BB calls $21

Turn: ($57.50) 7♠ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $45, BB calls $45

River: ($147.50) 7♣ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $72.50 and is all-in, BB calls $72.50

Hero shows J♣J
Hero wins $289.00 USD from main pot
Fish shows 2 5♠

This is why we bet Enty, etch this into your brain. Fish love to call! So bet your hand! They cannot call if you do not bet. This is not rocket science. Stop worrying about what they'll pay you with, because they'll pay you with everything. Start putting money in the god damn pot.

I try, I try. But sometimes they fold.
I know not bad and it happens.

I guess I was lucky the flush hit then.

ldo.

Stayed at the table and reloaded many. Unfortunately I didn't get cards and could not take many. Others did and they were happy. I was not.

He left and lost $100 total, 4 buyins, from what I saw but he was there when I got there, together with someone who already had a 400bb, $100, stack

Obviously I don't see all your hands, but you complain about running bad at 25nl a lot, this is where the money is going. When you hit a hand, bet it. Bet it again and again and again. At 25nl they will call you with just about anything, especially given that they called the flop. You could play fine without ever slowplaying. If they don't have a hand they'll never call. When you check you don't give them a chance to make a big mistake. Give them a chance to make that mistake. Bet more on the flop, bet the turn, and if the money isn't in already shove the river. You're not making your big money when they flop a hand they want to get it in with (despite the fact that it's the nut low flush here...), you make money when they decide their KQ in this spot is good enough to stack. You did it in the video and people all over 25nl do it. They see they have a hand, whether it's top pair, middle pair, an underpair, a draw on the flop/turn, whatever, and they call. They call too much, that's what you want to exploit. That's where the money comes from if you want to crush 25nl. There are generally 2 types of players: the nits and the fish. Even most nits are fish, but you make money from the nits by stealing from them, and you make money from the fish by bet-bet-betting your hands. You flop the nuts so if villain is a nit they're not putting in any money with worse and if they have a good hand they have a hard time letting it go postflop. No matter who this is, if they call flop they are calling turn a lot. You have the nuts and are burning money not betting this turn. You can't complain about not beating 25nl and then posting hands like this where the only reason you get all his money is villain hits a hand and is an absolute retard. When you have a hand, just bet. Sorry for being a bit harsh here but you need to get this concept. You've heard it again and again and you continue to post hands where you've slowplayed the shit out of hands. Just stop slowplaying.

Just got back from a 3 month hiatus and started playing again. played 20 games of 18 and 9 man sngs up like 7 dollars. Yaaaay only dollar games mind.

Anyway is doing a mix of different size tables a bad thing?

How about playing 2 sngs and 1 table of cash at same time is that bad?

Well. Of course I have to agree. But I just want to say I think it's been a really long time that I slowplayed a hand and had a good reason for it this time. And no matter what you say I felt it was the right move at the time. Against players who are less bad, you are right, but this guy was such an unbelieveable donk he was liable to bet his 23 even when didn't hit his low flush, which he did later on vs a different player. I really didn't think I was going to have a problem getting it in on river.

I could go over my recent hands and I'm pretty positive the only the times where I didn't bet bet bet but had a check in there or a check call is when I thought I wasn't winning or unsure.

It's good you're hard on me about this but I honestly think I haven't been doing it much lately...

omg video-making is tilting me so hard. Finally got it to produce without freezing like the millionth time and I find out that I initially was doing 6 tables and had been recording that area and that when I went to 4 and tiled those they went below the viewing area so you can only see the top half of the bottom tables. w/e I'll post it anyway when it's done uploading, just so tilting.

Btw, i'm only doing this because zach min-steals 100% from SB. Which is really good against people who don't adjust.
