Ok this evening is going to be game review.

I already know that playing for stacks with KK/QQ and AK preflop in FR is losing me money long term, now gotta start checking some post flop stats.

Edit : Ill likely start a thread re the KK stuff at somestage this evening to see if it just running bad, but over 200K hands, meh maybe, but id still like some comparsion.

lol the guy from above tilted himself relentlessly in the end complaining about my luck because i was winning with the best hand, or was checking the big blind then betting trips yet played it horribly, or was checking down nothing on 2 sttreets to river the nuts when villain flopped the nuts

Yes the guy from above is Jagsti

LMAO if that villain was you then you suck :p. But I don't think it was coz you would have outed yourself, and if it was then shame on you, you welsh thing you :(

If you play at Full Tilt you need to signup at trulyfreepokertraining.com . Earn a certain amount of FTPs throughout the month and get free access to Stox and/or Cardrunners. This deal was originally open only to existing Stox/CR memebers but has now been opened to everyone. You don't have to sign-up to FT through them. It doesn't effect your MGR/rakeback. There is no detriment to you whatsoever. If you already play at FT it's a no-brainer imo.

Qualified for the iron ironman freeroll this month. Looks like the field is about 600 players for a $30k prize pool, so it's a $50 value. Top 180 get paid, i.e. 30% of the field. Happens on Feb. 14th.

+1. I got both CR and Stox for free through this. Only need to earn 7000 points per month. Piece of cake, imo.

Please update on how this turns out. I generally take the bonus medals but if the FR is EZ $$ I may rethink that.

The bonus medals for iron level are only worth something like $20, so the freeroll EV of $50 is much better. Of course you need to play it.

What powers you ask? I dunno, how 'bout the power of flight?
That do anything for ya? That's levitation holmes.
How 'bout the power to kill a yak, from 200 yards away...
with mind bullets! That's telekinesis, Kyle.

Weird ass session.
Spewed two stacks off in the first 20 mins, on absolutely horrid hands, that was really bad. Then a KK < AA to be down 3 buy ins.

Then I met the biggest tilted fish eva! Luckily he was on 4 tables of mine.
First he stacks off with QcTc on x J Tc Kc vs my AJ.
Then he pays my flopped set off with QK Q on flop.
Then he shoves 4s6s on 4h7sQs vs my AQ. I snap, turn a Q and he doesnt get a spade.

All in all I'm sad I spewed those 2 stacks or it would've been a really good session.

sounds like the "tilted fish" played all of those hands pretty standardly (save maybe the KQ hand?)

Wow, I am losing money with middle set over the last 20K or so hands, and not just by a bit. Big long term winner, so its starting to look like this swong is very legit.

lol yea i was like wtf all of those hands are completely standard. I mean how on earth can you say anything about stacking off with 2nd pair vs pair + OESFD lol which is like the biggest combo draw you could possibly flop. 2 out of those 3 hands villain was ahead or exactly flipping when the money went in. Maybe KQ could be a tiny bit iffy (but still fine) but in any case beats stacking off with AJ on a TJK board :(
