Female poker players are hard to beat 😪

I’ve had sessions where certain opponents were harder to read, but I don’t think that’s really about gender. Some players are simply less predictable because they don’t follow common population tendencies or standard betting patterns, which makes them tougher to put on a range. I try not to make assumptions based on who is sitting across from me and instead focus on the individual’s actions, bet sizing, timing, and overall tendencies. In the long run, reading the player rather than the stereotype leads to much better decisions.

That is an excellent observation. In general, women have to be much more cautious than men while living their day to day lives. That wariness doesn't go away even when relaxing and enjoying themselves at something like a game of poker.

I can't speak for everyone else, but that definitely describes me. Well...maybe not the part about being a solid player.

I grew up in a world where there were waiters and waitresses, actors and actresses, etc... Women who are experts at poker should be referred to as mistresses. Unfortunately nowadays that word has a bad connotation.

most of them are hardly strong players
