For me I was eleven or twelve, and my first real poker game carries a lot of nice memories. It was with my mother and father who taught me the game in the two hours before Gunsmoke came on tv at 10pm. That became a weekly event for us. ❤️

All I can remember is that it was 5 card draw. I didn't even know about Texas Holdem.

If I remember the first time I played it was in a bar and I remember that we played with coins since we didn't have real chips.

I don't know about the really old draw games we played as kids, but I do remember that the first time I played in a casino was a 2-4 limit game at The Palms in Vegas.

I probably won't remember how I played for the first time, but I remember the first time I took first place in the tournament, I was very happy, I told almost all my comrades about it.

I remember my first cash I made in a freeroll and that was only 36 Cents. I also remember My first Live MTT in a Casino, I went out in 65th place out of 150 players so never made the money, but since then I have improved and I cave won a few freerolls, and also made a few Final tables in Live MTT Games winning money in them.
There was one night, I was in a Live MTT where I got busted out before the Break and played 2 side games while I waited for a Friend who finished in 5th place winning £15.00. After he finished he asked me how I had got on and told him I lost before the break, with a full house Jacks over 5s and the other player had 4 of a kind, he said "Yes I know that but you played 2 side games didn't you?" and I replied "oh that! yes I won them both" I'm up £100.00 on the night, he was sick.

I started playing poker online and didn't understand it at all, but I started playing I thought that just if you have 2 cards and they are older then you're a cool dude and thought such an easy game didn't know anything about poker then and then I lost but I played free tournaments after I was constantly losing and then I learned a lot

My first Texas Holdem game was a live game 19 years ago. A friend invited me to join a group he had just started up. I knew the ranking of hands and the play of hands from watching TV. It was about 5-6 years ago. It was interesting and I generally didn't understand almost anything, and even more so and of course I didn't win anything
