For all those poker players who have been playing for more than a year, how are your finances? are you in loss or gain? Do you consider with this game you can live? :deal:

You can make a living from poker but many things are involved, discipline, study, time invested, control of emotions etc. , days in which you must remain calm and focused to continue on the right path, a lot of patience ,, I do not consider that you have to invest money, with the minimum deposit and playing freerolls you can achieve great things but patience and management of bankroll

Certanentily, here, you LL found more losers players.

How you can see in sharkscope

If you don’t play poker for one year. You can’t to live several hands for you to be lucrative in this game.

You need to survive for some years on the real poker for you to be a lucrative player

If i'd take gambling seriously then yeah i'd say that this can be my primary (or only) source income ...

... but luckily/sadly i dont so obviously i can afford to lose and that's fine me thinks ...

I want to point out what you said is true, if you do not learn, and just play.

But if you hire a coach and figure out your mistakes, I think you'll start earning

My bankroll is growing solely because of my patience and the freerolls of our community. I am completely satisfied with my results and am working on improving my skills.

I started around 2003 being impressed by what Chris Moneymaker did. The beginnings were tough. There were more losses than gains. There were moments of doubt but the fascination with poker took over. Now I'm generally a lot ahead and have no problem with it. Experience and common sense are base.

Hello.
Although poker is a hobby for me, I still take the game responsibly. My bankroll is growing and I don't spend my own money on the game.

I certainly have profits from the games! Now if you can live from the game... I think it is a game and it gives more and more if you play systematically!

I have been playing poker for about 5 years. For the first three years, I lost money. But for the last two years, I've learned to make a profit. My bankroll is growing, and that's because I've become more patient and disciplined.

First goal of most players should simply be to consistently break even with the rake. At that point you can absorb yourself into the game and push towards profit and keep improving to the level you want to be at.

As for me, I can say that my bankroll is unstable, win and lose, but I haven't deposited or withdrawn any money in a while, and that's not bad in poker, the important thing is that I play and enhance my skills and strategies, one day I will make good wins. As for making a living from poker, this is very difficult, as I cannot rely on the unknown to earn a living, and I am not qualified for that yet ;) Good luck everyone

I went back to playing poker last year when the pandemic appeared.

Since then, I made my bankroll from freerolls and start to play on micro tournaments.

I have been playing at micro stakes since 2010. I never even thought of making poker for a living. I play as a profit, but it's like a hobby, like a side job. To earn poker professionally, you need to devote all your time and study a lot. I am not ready for this.

Initially never risked enough to matter but last two months I cashed out at 1200 and just under 4k respectively. I also bet sports so maybe 1/4 of that is football. Bulk of it came from Windfalls on BOL as I managed to hit two 1000 dollar prizes along with several 100/250. Haven’t won a game so far this month though. So frustrating
