I collected a Straight Flush and a Royal Flush back to back on BetOnline. It was at a smaller cash table and my straight flush would have been a bad beat on a qualifying table. I made out pretty good for the night considering the small stakes, but I know the feat will probably never be repeated by me in 100 years of online play. I have been playing at BetOnline now for about 7 years.

They are very difficult to achieve, it is quite complicated, but I have achieved about three times in pokerstars, and a couple of times live.

Never Royal..

Haven't hit a Royal flush in my poker playing yet. A few four of a kind, and luck into a straight flush, but never a royal flush.

I love the thought of suckering somebody who thinks they have the nut flush with their A, but hitting straight flushes is so rare I can't often justify playing the mid and lower suited connectors. I maybe play them a quarter of the time just so the table doesn't think I am super-tight - or to occasionally steal a pot with a straight when they assume I am playing for a high pair or set!
