Have you played other card games before playing poker?

Personally, I have been playing the card game "Durak" very well since childhood. And to be precise, all the kids in my house gathered and played this game. But for me it's easy because I remember the cards and it's better not to play with me. That's why I switched to poker - a more interesting and clever game.

I know a lot of card games, including quite complex ones, but I think poker, with all its varieties, is the best card game! I think that's why poker is so popular. I, like many poker players, believe that poker is a highly intellectual game and should be recognized as a sport, like chess and checkers.

I have been playing cards since early childhood, in my youth for money games such as:
bridge, seko, point, preference, thousand, deberts, boss with a fool

here and now poker, I also like to play backgammon and dominoes

I used to play a lot of pinochle when I was younger with the family and family friends. Other than that it was board games and sports for me.

Sure, we grew up playing cards. I learned my first card games when I was in kindergarten, when we had game evenings with the family or when we had visitors, like on vacation. "Uno", "mau-mau", "Schwarzer Peter" or "31" were then played.

In later age, PC card games such as "Solitaire", "Spider Solitaire", etc. were added.

A deck of cards has always been the universal medium of entertainment & employment, be it just to perform card tricks!

In my country, Venezuela, a card game called "Truco" (trick) is very popular and I have always played it with my friends but I was very pleasantly surprised to find it online on Facebook. Just before I knew everything about Pokerr that was my favorite card game.

I played a lot of cardgames when I was young, especiallyi whist, ( when adults of our family needed a 4 man, I was the child that got the invite to play with the adults, my grandfather had a bit of a temper, so I did learn to play and remember the cards, I also played Casino a lot it is math card game, and games like hearts, rummy, 21, war, fish, the only game I didn’t play was Bridge but I may pick that up, if I lose interest in poker and chess…
