Any hobby that teaches you patience probably translates to poker very well. I didn't consider Chess, but now that others have said it, I think I agree.

Apart from poker, I actually have no more hobbies. But I also think that sports can contribute to good poker results. Sport develops discipline, and discipline is one of the decisive factors in poker. However, I am lazy and prefer to lie on the couch than sports.
