Creating a scandal that gets you world wide recognition is probably the easiest way...
Or you could become one of the top 0.1% of poker players who get attention.
Also if you're really well known as a good poker player, you'll have access to fewer good games.
It's much more profitable to make people think you're a rich trust fund baby who degens daddy's money away at the table, even if you don't actually have a trust fund or a rich daddy.

I think that to be recognized nowadays you have to make videos where people can see you playing it's not that easy to be recognized nowadays

To become known you have to begin to have good scores at tournaments, show them to the world, be persistent with those scores and have a lot of coaching also.

Just like in business, in poker you need an investment. If you are confident in your abilities, start playing in poker clubs to gain popularity in small communities at the level of your city. If you realize that you have outgrown the level of your city, move on to more serious tournaments.

Being good at poker and being known in poker are two very different goals. You can play a lot, win big, and enjoy life without ever chasing fame. Honestly, becoming "known" might bring more hassle than benefit—privacy issues, pressure, and drama. Personally, I’d rather let my bankroll speak for me than worry about followers or fame.
