How to Deal With Insults From Other Players?

Playing on PS today, in High School tournament one player started saying I was a bot then started to insult me including telling me to get cancer and die and worse. How do you respond to such people? Luckily I go moved to another table before I said something nasty back.

In these cases you have to ignore the player and report it, a moderator will silence it

If you are in a talkative mood and want to kill off their incentive to report, reply 'I'm the best bot in the business' or something ironic to make it clear you're human.

If you're not in a talkative mood, there are ways to turn off chat completely if you want to know.

I laugh at people that make comments like that and most of the time ignore them. Sometimes though I do like to wind them up and see how mad I can make them.

Personally some one who would say that is, well words can't describe how low he is. And I would not acknowledge him at all. I would block him and report him to the sight... Sorry you had to experience that.

Just ignore it and don't answer anything. Saying those kinds of things to someone is a strong indicator that they don't have everything okay in their own lives and they feel bad. Then when they lose, those emotions multiply and something like that comes out of their mouth. Or then they are just immature brats who don't really know anything about life yet. Some might even purposely seek responds and try to make others angry so ignoring is the best way to react. But if something is getting way out of line, then you can just report that chat to moderator and they will continue from there.

Playing in HS, I've also noticed one player who always says exactly this phrase after a bad beat or suckout. However, it happened when he was playing strong hands, so his anger is understandable. Some guys just cant control it. The less donks/fishes will play in the League, the less insults we'll see at the tables. Anyway, just ignore or report

Just hit the block chat and block chat bubbles. No point dealing with someone like this. If it has the slightest effect on you, takes away from your game, or stops you playing your best.. he's won ! Just don't get involved here.
