I love poker, but with a full job and family, it can be hard to find the time to seriously study and improve. Sometimes I wonder if it's even possible to make progress without spending all my time wa-bank. How do others manage to manage their schedule and at the same time increase their skill and rates? Are short, consistent sessions the solution? I would like to hear the opinions of other players who are limited in time.

You can develop your skills without spending the whole day in poker. But balancing poker with family and job is a really test.

It's simple! I've made poker my life. I completely adjust my daily schedule to poker and I love it. I have melted into poker and it has become my main antidepressant. It sounds crazy, I know, but it's my reality. Poker helps keep me from going insane due to the regular nightly drone and rockets attacks.

It’s easy for me because I’m 60 and retired. It also helps that my wife also plays poker. I know I am one of the lucky ones that has time to play and study. With a family and full time job it can be super challenging to find time to play and study but if you want to improve you just have to make time somewhere. Keep in mind if this is just a recreational thing for you that family should always come first, poker will always be there but family and friends won’t.

I work in shifts, so I generally have time to play. But since I work as a security guard and I often just sit around during work, I can also play at work. If you want to combine poker and work, you should find a job that allows you to do it.

I work with my sister, so I play poker (freerolls) at work.

Poker can be extremely mentally and emotionally demanding, so work-life balance is essential.

I work from home so there are no problems with this.
