I've never been to jail, but obviously poker is a great pastime. However, I think that in most prisons playing cards is prohibited, and in this case it is better to read books.

Hi all
I have been in Russian prisons, and I have not seen anyone playing poker, they mostly play terce, rams, twenty-one, in prison any game, whether it be chess or backgammon, is a pastime, someone earns money and I don’t see this is no problem

Why not? I played poker while in the military. Almost the same thing as prison. If you don't believe me then try going AWOL.
